Join us for a moment of connection, reflection, and solidarity - even from afar - as we share live trial updates.

This is a free event with the option to donate directly towards the campaign on a sliding scale £5 / £12 / £24 with optional tip up to 100% at checkout. 

Context: On Thursday 15th January, the Free Humanitarians team and the defendants will gather again in Lesvos to continue the felony trial that was adjourned in December. We hope this trial will be the last ever trial of the 24 humanitarians, and on Saturday 17th January at 6pm Greek time, we will host our live event to share the trial verdict, analysis, and reflections with our wider community.

Our Solidari-Teas are an online gathering; part ritual, part briefing, part circle of care. We invite you to join us and share a cup of tea (or any beverage of your choice), meet the team and defendants, hear live updates from Lesvos, and reflect on what solidarity means to us together. 

We wanted to create this event to invite our community into the room at a moment when your presence matters most. As with all our other events and efforts recently, all the funds we raise from the event will support our active campaigning efforts for the trial. 

During the event, you can expect:

• a summary of the trial, including key moments from days 3 and 4 
• analysis from trial monitoring with Nefeli and Captain Support 
• personal reflections from Sean and Nassos 
• open discussion and Q&A with the team 
• a tea & reflection segment with readings, poems, or sound pieces shared live 
• closing words, a solidarity toast, and updates on what's next for Free Humanitarians  

If you’d like to share a short reading, poem, reflection, or sound piece during the Tea & Reflection segment, please let us know in your order notes or by replying to your confirmation email. We’ll be curating a few contributions in advance.
